Marieke Arets is an expert in talent development and psychological safety, and Chief Learning Officer Netherlands at Better Minds. She is trained as an organisational psychologist, specialising in talent development. From an early age, Marieke has had a deep-rooted curiosity about human behaviour and finds great fulfilment in supporting others in their development.

After completing her studies, she held various roles in Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development at organisations such as the law firm Loyens & Loeff. She has extensive experience designing learning programmes and guiding young professionals, teams and leaders as a facilitator and executive coach. Marieke has a strong connection with nature and recharges while walking along the beach or through the woods with her dog. She is also certified to use the Fearless Organization Scan, developed by renowned Harvard professor Amy Edmondson, which she uses to help organisations create psychologically safe working environments.

As Chief Learning Officer, Marieke helps shape Better Minds’ approach to talent and leadership development. Drawing on a brain-based and experiential approach, she is responsible for the content and quality of our learning programmes.
