Mark Tuitert

Mark Tuitert knows what it means to perform under pressure. As a former Olympic champion in the 1,500 metres, European allround champion and junior world champion, he built his career on a foundation of focus, discipline and mental strength.

His path to the top was anything but straightforward. After difficult years marked by setbacks, he won the gold medal at the 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver. An outcome few had anticipated. He describes the achievement as the result of inner ownership, not luck.

After retiring from speed skating in 2014, Mark rebuilt a successful life as an entrepreneur, author and speaker. With his DRIVE philosophy and stoic mindset, he inspires leaders, teams and organisations to build mental resilience - especially when things get tough.

Mark speaks honestly, energetically and with humour about personal leadership, self-leadership, performing under pressure and the art of letting go of what lies beyond your control. His stories are relatable and his insights are immediately applicable.

His keynote is a powerful experience for events, team gatherings and organisations that want to inspire their people to bring out the best in themselves.
