Major transformation is felt throughout an organisation. At Bnode, the company behind bpost, this created a growing need to support leaders and employees in managing the pressure and uncertainty that change can bring. Together with Better Minds, the organisation developed a practical learning programme focused on resilience and self-leadership.

“As part of our resilience and self-leadership programme, we have been working with Better Minds since 2025. Better Minds supported Bnode in designing and rolling out a learning journey that combines keynotes, digital learning modules, practical tools and intervision sessions.”
How do you recognise stress in yourself? How do emotions influence your behaviour? And how do you maintain your own balance while guiding others through change? Bnode was looking for a practical, scalable programme that addressed these questions, available in Dutch, French and English. The initial focus was on leaders. The programme was later extended to employees within a specific department.
Our training programmes place a strong emphasis on blended learning. By combining different learning methods, we give participants the flexibility to engage with the content at a pace and in a way that suits their personal learning preferences. Together with Bnode, we therefore developed a modular programme in which digital learning modules, practical toolkits and peer learning sessions reinforce one another.
Dr. Aisha Cortoos developed the learning content around six themes: emotional intelligence, connection, recognising stress, managing stress, focus management and recovery. She translated scientific insights into relatable situations and techniques that participants could try out for themselves.

Each module comes with a toolkit containing exercises, worksheets, visualisations and inspirational resources. Examples include:

During these sessions, participants discussed their experiences and questions with colleagues. Better Minds expert David Maegerman facilitated the conversations, creating a confidential space for open exchange. Using methods such as STARR and OASE, he helped the group turn real-life situations into insights and practical next steps.

Several teams within Bnode completed the programme. Participants particularly valued the relatable examples, practical tools and professional guidance. Several participants reported that they had started applying the insights in their work.
The peer learning sessions offered opportunities to learn from colleagues and discover new perspectives. Feedback from the initial programmes was used to further refine the approach.
Bnode and Better Minds continue to work together to strengthen resilience and self-leadership across the organisation.
